Specifically designed for heating tanks used in process operations where items are lifted into and out of various solutions. The heater is flange mounted at the base of the tank and comes supplied with a backing flange. No welding is required.

The elements are more robust than conventional rod elements used in Vat heaters and are arranged along the bottom of the tank reducing the risk of entanglement.

The terminal enclosure is mounted at the base of the tank and is therfore better protected from damage and attack by the contents of the tank.

Elements can be replaced without draining the vessel minimising down time and maintenance costs.

The standard range is specifically designed to heat water, caustic (sodium hydroxide) solutions and light to medium oils. Can be specified to heat other chemical solutions. Please contact our technical department.

Range of loadings from 6kW to 24kW, three phase on a rectangular flange.

Very low watts density elements at 1.5 W/cm² (10 W/in²).

Terminal enclosure is designed to IP55.

All standard models are fitted with a control thermostat and over-temperature, safety thermostat.
